This Morning host Joel Dommett was left red-faced on Wednesday’s show, as he was accused of being “disgusting” by viewers after a cooking segment with John Torode

This Morning’s Rochelle Humes and stand-in host Joel Dommett got more than they bargained for when celebrity chef John Torode served up a surprise that left viewers reeling.

While the delectable cheesecake was enough to make anyone drool, Joel took it one step too far literally dribbling the dessert right back onto the plate!

Onlookers were gobsmacked as Rochelle exclaimed in horror: “Oh my gosh! What a way to ruin it.” Joel, sporting a red face, could only muster a sheepish: “I’m so sorry! That is unbelievable.”

It wasn’t just laughter the pair exchanged, as Rochelle put her sampling on hold, quipping: “I wanted some but there’s a little bit of Joel drool!”

The cringe-worthy moment quickly turned into a Twitter storm, with fans airing their disgust at Joel’s cake-chucking calamity, reports the Express.

Tweet after tweet showed fans knocking Joel for his food faux pas, with reactions ranging from a blunt “He just dropped that food back on that cheesecake? ? ” to a gag-worthy “Oh f***ing hell! Joel is absolutely disgusting.”

Amongst the backlash, some viewers used the sick emoji as they couldn’t hide their queasiness. One viewer shared their relief: “I was fortunate enough not to see how disgusting Joel was in the cooking segment.”

One disgruntled viewer tweeted: “My 5-year-old grandson has better eating manners than Joel.” Another viewer chimed in with: “Joel obviously didn’t want to share the cheesecake.”
