She admitted that she was originally considered for the role eventually played by Emma Stone.

However, Emma clarified that the decision was simply due to scheduling conflicts. She explained that sometimes names are linked to projects early on to generate interest, even before anything is officially confirmed or finalized.

During a challenging time, Emma had devoted herself to Bill Condon’s Beauty and the Beast for an extended period. However, she eventually realized that she couldn’t effectively juggle the demands of both performances.

She mentioned that she had horse training, dancing, singing rehearsals for three months, and needed to be in London to fully commit to the role.

Unfortunately, with conflicting schedules, it became clear that she wouldn’t be able to give her all to both projects simultaneously.
