21 Savage Pulls Up On Soulja Boy For Dissing Him On IG Live

In the latest bout of rap industry drama, Soulja Boy has ignited a fiery feud with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage,

centering on a tweet Metro Boomin posted back in 2012.

The tweet, which resurfaced recently, read:

“My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy, yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats sit down.”

At the time, Metro was 19 years old and clearly took a jab at a fellow producer,

though it’s unclear who exactly he was referencing.

Soulja Boy, upon discovering the tweet, didn’t hold back his disdain. In an Instagram Live session, he mocked Metro Boomin for being excited about working with Jeezy, asserting that he himself was making significant moves in the industry at a much younger age. Soulja Boy emphasized that while Metro was just starting out, he had already achieved a number one hit in 2007 at the age of 17.

“Boy, stop playing with me,” Soulja Boy said, “I had a number one hit in 2007 when I was 17, you were still in elementary school.”

The situation escalated when 21 Savage intervened, questioning Soulja Boy’s threats by asking, “or what?” This only fueled Soulja Boy’s anger, prompting him to respond with even more aggressive rhetoric. He claimed he would slap Metro Boomin and continued to hurl insults at both Metro and 21 Savage.

Soulja Boy’s animosity reached a peak when he tweeted “Happy Mother’s Day” to Metro Boomin, a seemingly innocuous comment until considering the tragic context—Metro’s mother was reportedly murdered by her husband, who subsequently took his own life. This tweet was followed by a slew of aggressive messages, including one where Soulja Boy accused Metro Boomin of sacrificing his mother, a statement that shocked and outraged many fans and onlookers.

21 Savage, disturbed by Soulja Boy’s comments about Metro’s mother, warned him that he would regret his words when they met in person. In response, Soulja Boy doubled down, taunting both Metro and 21 Savage and challenging them to a physical fight, even suggesting they sign a boxing contract.

The back-and-forth exchanges continued on social media, with Soulja Boy flaunting his past successes and belittling 21 Savage’s British heritage. He accused 21 Savage of riding on Drake’s coattails to gain fame and threatened to physically assault him when given the chance. 21 Savage retorted by posting a screenshot of an article about Soulja Boy’s financial troubles, suggesting that Soulja Boy’s net worth was negative.

Meek Mill also chimed in, calling out Soulja Boy for losing touch with reality and risking real-life violence for the sake of social media clout. Soulja Boy, undeterred, fired back with even more inflammatory remarks.

As the feud continues to unfold, it’s clear that the rap world is watching closely. With Soulja Boy’s volatile declarations and the involvement of high-profile figures like 21 Savage and Meek Mill, the situation remains tense. Fans and industry insiders alike are left wondering whether this conflict will eventually lead to a resolution or further escalate into something more dangerous.

In the ever-dramatic landscape of the rap industry, this latest feud serves as a stark reminder of the power and peril of social media beefs. As it stands, only time will tell how this saga will play out and what impact it will have on those involved.
